Andrew Wasylyk & Tommy Perman - Ash Grey and the Gull Glides On

I’ve been a fan of Andrew Wasylyk for some time now. I was a big fan, back in the day, of Tommy Perman’s band FOUND. 14 years later it’s interesting to hear the combination of Tommy’s beats and Andrew’s instrumentation and arrangements. Another record you should definitely check out. Andrew’s work always has a real calming quality to it and this is no different. Even album closer Be The Hammer, which features Aidan Moffat, manages to steer clear of the sinister. Really great record.
